Ajmer, 9 October (Patrika English News ). The police and administration took major action on Thursday after the consent of the family members in the murder case of businessman Ramesh Rulaniya in Kuchaman City. The officials, along with the Municipal Council team, took action against the illegal properties of history-sheeter Shafiq khan and seized the G-Club restaurant and cafe located on the fourth floor of Prerna Tower.
According to the information, Shafiq Khan is accused of extortion and giving input to gangster Rohit Godara from Kuchaman. The city council team had to face heavy opposition during the action. On the spot, women created ruckus on the road for about two hours. After consultation, the police removed them with the help of women police force. Some youths also protested, who were chased away by the police. Municipal Council Commissioner Shikesh Kankaria said that the illegally operated G-Club on the fourth floor of Prerna Tower was demolished and the goods were confiscated. During the action, heavy police presence including SDM Vishwamitra Meena, Tehsildar Kailash Inania, ASP Nemichand Kharia, ninth CI Nandlal, Chitawa police station officer Tejaram was present.
According to the information, G-Club restaurant was taken on rent by Faheem Pathan. Although this property belongs to Shafiq Khan. Faheem had earlier also fled to Mumbai along with Shafiq in an extortion case, from where Gujarat Police arrested both of them. The city council had issued a notice regarding illegal construction in Prerna Tower. Only the basement, ground, first and second floors were approved for the building, while the third and fourth floors were built illegally. Now the council has pasted a notice to remove the encroachment within seven days. After this, action will be taken to demolish the illegal construction.
Similarly, illegal floors have also been constructed in JK Plaza located in Rizka Mandi, where the gym of accused Shafiq Khan is operating. The city council has started preparations for action there also.
