Shyamlal was involved in 16 criminal cases
SP Amit Kumar said that Shyamlal alias Shyama has been continuously active in criminal activities since 1996. He has been involved in the illegal drug trade for a long time and is himself a drug addict. Due to his adventurous nature, the common people were afraid to give information against him.
A total of 16 cases are registered against Shyamlal, out of which he has been sentenced by the court in 8 cases. A total of 5 cases are registered under NDPS ACT in police stations Sadar Jhalawar, Suket and Anantpura Kot. Apart from this, a case of robbery (2), attempt to murder (1), Arms Act (1), Excise Act (1), theft (2), assault (3) and damaging public property is also registered.

SP Kumar said that in view of the persistent criminal tendencies of the accused and the possibility of him promoting drug trade in future, this strict preventive action has been taken so that the health and welfare of the general public can be protected.
