
Jaipur, October 30 (Patrika English News ): Acting on the directions of the ACB Headquarters, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Bikaner SU Unit today caught Ambalal Meena, Revenue Patwari of Panchu Patwar Mandal, Tehsil Nokha, District Bikaner, and Shri Ram, Mahadev e-Mitra Operator, red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹4,000.
According to ACB Director General Govind Gupta, the bureau had received a complaint stating that Patwari Ambalal Meena demanded a bribe of ₹4,000 in exchange for preparing a report related to compensation of around ₹50,000 for land under an electricity tower on the complainant’s agricultural property in Panchu. The bribe was to be collected through e-Mitra operator Shri Ram Jat.
Under the supervision of DIG Bikaner Bhuwan Bhushan Yadav, Additional Superintendent of Police Ashish Kumar and his team conducted a trap operation. During the operation, Shri Ram Jat was caught accepting ₹4,000 from the complainant on behalf of Patwari Ambalal Meena. Both were arrested on the spot.
Further interrogation and legal proceedings are being carried out under the supervision of Additional DGP Smita Srivastava. The ACB has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act and initiated further investigation.
