Ajmer, October 10 (Udaipur Kiran News). The District Consumer commission has adopted a strict stance in a case of dead bodies being found in samosas in Ajmer. Hari Singh Chaudhary, resident of Balupura Road, Adarsh Nagar, had filed a complaint in the Consumer Commission through advocate Amit Gandhi. He told that a party was organized on the birthday of his friend Abhishek Parihar on 18th July 2025. On this occasion he went with his friend Pawan Kumar to buy breakfast, sweets and cakes. Market Went there, where he bought samosas and kachoris worth Rs 575 from Gopinath Kachori Bhandar.
After cutting the cake, when breakfast was served, as soon as Hari Singh took the first bite of the samosa, a black object appeared in it. Upon investigation, it turned out to be a dead creature, seeing which the applicant vomited and the atmosphere of the party deteriorated.
The applicant immediately complained about this incident to the Medical and Health Department along with the operator of Gopinath Kachori Bhandar. The investigation conducted by the Health Department confirmed that the black object found in the samosas was a rotten dead organism.
After this, Hari Singh Chaudhary sent a notice to Gopinath Kachori Bhandar demanding compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the mental and physical pain caused by selling contaminated food items. However, no reply was given to the notice.
After hearing the case, the Consumer Commission has summoned Gopinath Kachori Bhandar, considering it prima facie a case of negligence.
