Better communication and coordination is necessary for effective action against drugs: DGP Rajeev Sharma
Jaipur, 10 October. ,Udaipur Kiran News) Director General Police Rajiv Kumar Sharma said that the state Government has formed Anti narcotics task force (ANTF) to prevent illegal drugs and control the growing problem of addiction. All the soldiers associated with this task force should realize their expectations by using the skills learned in the training.

DGP Sharma was addressing as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the five-day training program of Anti Narcotics Task Force organized at the Police Headquarters auditorium on Friday.
He said that drug addiction is a social evil as well as a serious crime, due to which many families are affected. Under the three-tier action plan, the task force personnel will have to monitor the entry points of drugs, identify the distribution mechanism and take effective action using technology.
The DGP asked the newly appointed soldiers to work in the field with better coordination and coordination with the local police. Society To solve this big problem, fulfill your responsibility with full enthusiasm and dedication.

DGP Sharma interacted with the trainees and asked what new they have learned in this training. The trainees told that for the first time they got information about different types of drugs, increasing trend of drug addiction among the youth, sources of drug addiction and drugs coming from foreign countries. The DGP said that they should visit other units and related institutions across the country and learn from their experiences.
On this occasion, ADG ATS V.K. Singh said that this founding team of ANTF is fortunate to have got the opportunity to showcase their skills. He said that in the five-day training, the soldiers were given technical information and practical training, which would be very useful at the district level.
At the beginning of the program, ANTF IG Vikas Kumar gave the welcome address and presented the report of the training program. He said that with the establishment of the headquarters, 9 posts have been started in the initial phase. He also shared information about notable actions taken by the team recently.
At the end of the program, DIG Yogesh Yadav expressed his gratitude and said that the newly appointed soldiers will try their best to live up to the expectations of the department.
