Investigation revealed that out of the total amount of fraud of ₹23.56 lakh, ₹63,657 was deposited in the bank account of Anil Kumawat’s wife. Further investigation also revealed that the defrauded amount of about ₹12.50 lakh belonging to other victims had also come into his wife’s account.
Anil Kumawat admitted during interrogation that he had opened his wife’s bank account. Online Opened and made available to cyber thugs. After this amount came into the accounts, he used to withdraw it and hand it over to the swindlers and take commission in return.
