The Jaipur-Ajmer highway of Maujmabad police station area of Jaipur Rural District was hit on Tuesday night when the trailer hit a truck filled with LPG gas cylinder. After this, a truck full of gas cylinders overturned and then one cylinder broke out due to fire in the truck. It is being told that after the cylinder blast, cylinders are falling in the fields far and wide. The sound of this blast was heard several kilometers away. In this accident, there is a possibility of vehicles running nearby. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and stopped traffic on both sides. At the same time, fire engines reached the spot are busy extinguishing the fire.
Dudu ASP Shivlal Bairwa said that the accident took place near Savarda Pulia in Maujmabad area of Jaipur-Ajmer highway. At the same time, firefighters have reached the spot along with the police. Rescue and relief work is being done. The police have diverted vehicles coming and going on the precautionary highway so that a major accident can be prevented.
