The businessman was seriously injured due to the bullet. He was rushed to the district hospital in a hurry, where he succumbed during treatment.
CI Satpal Singh said that the incident took place in a gym on Station Road in the morning. On hearing the sound of firing, the people present in the gym got nervous and ran outside. Meanwhile, the accused escaped from the spot. According to doctors, the bullet in the shoulder of businessman Ramesh Rulania ripped the body and reached the stomach, which made his condition very serious. Initial investigation has revealed that several traders, including the deceased businessman Ramesh Rulania, received threats from the Rohit Godara gang a few days ago. The police suspect that this attack may be associated with the same threat. The police administration got into action as soon as the incident was reported. ASP Nemichand Kharia, Deputy SP Arvind Bishnoi and CI Satpal Singh reached the spot and inspected the spot closely. The police have started scrutinizing footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby so that the attacker can be identified. After the incident, a large crowd gathered outside the gym and district hospital. There is resentment among the people and they have demanded the police to arrest the accused as soon as possible.
