The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain and cloud cover in nine districts. At the same time, light drizzle was recorded in many areas of Jaipur on Tuesday morning.
According to the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, the sky will be clean in the state from October 8 and the weather will be dry again.
The rains continued for the last two days have spoiled the situation in many districts. On Monday, there was four inches of rain in many areas including Jaipur, Nagaur, Hanumangarh, Sikar, Bundi and Alwar. After this strong rains with thunderstorms, the fields were flooded, which spoiled the prepared kharif crops. The temperature also dropped due to continuous cloudy and winds.
In Hanumangarh, Monday had a difference of only one degree in day and night temperatures. The maximum temperature of the day was 26.4 degrees and the minimum night temperature was 25.4 degrees Celsius. During the last 24 hours, there was heavy rains in many areas of Alwar, Nagaur, Jaipur, Bundi, Hanumangarh, Jhalawar, Sikar and Sriganganagar. Kuchaman in Nagaur district received the highest 88 mm rainfall, while Khandela in Sikar received 70 mm and Srimadhopur received 66 mm of rain.
In Jaipur too, there was heavy rain in many places on Monday. There was 92 mm of rainfall near Chhaparwara Dam, 56 mm in Shahpura, 52 mm in Bairath, 35 mm in Fagi and 29 mm in Sanganer. This created a situation of waterlogging in the low -lying areas of the city.
This change of weather has also affected the temperature. On Monday, the maximum temperature in fifteen cities of Rajasthan was below 30 degrees Celsius. Sikar was the coldest day, where the temperature was 22.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Jaipur was measured 25.1 degrees, Alwar 24 degrees, Churu 24.1 degrees and Ganganagar 27.5 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department says that western disturbances will weaken from October 8. After this, the sky will be clean and nights will be pleasant with light heat during the day. Farmers are also expected to get some relief due to the stoppage of rain, because there are constant reports of water filling in the fields and damage to crops due to continuous rains.
