
Jaipur, October 12 (Patrika English News ). Indian Janata Party Haryana in-charge and former state president of Rajasthan, Dr. satish poonia’s book ‘Agneepath nahi janpath: From Samvad to Sangharsh Tak’ was launched on Saturday at the Constitution Club of Jaipur in the chief hospitality of Punjab Governor Gulabchand Kataria. BJP State President Madan Rathore, former Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tikaram Julie and Bhilwara District Chief Barji Bai Bhil were present as special guests in the program. The event was held under the joint aegis of Rajasthan Sahitya Academy, Udaipur and Vera Prakashan, Jaipur.
Releasing the book, Governor Gulabchand Kataria said that Dr. Poonia has explained the functioning of democracy in depth through this work. He said that this book has also inspired me to write. In this, the process of the Assembly, the role of the Leader of Opposition and the responsibilities of the Speaker have been presented in simple language, which will prove to be an invaluable guide for the youth associated with politics.
Kataria said that ideologies may differ in politics, but when it comes to the country and public interest, everyone stands on one platform, this is the beauty of democracy. He said that Satish Poonia has worked hard continuously from Vidyarthi Parishad to BJP organization. In politics, it is not victory or defeat but the spirit of public service that creates a permanent identity.
Remembering Bhairo Singh Shekhawat, the Governor said that he used to teach. If you want to know Rajasthan then sit in the House. Today it is unfortunate that transfers are discussed more than in the House. He said that only the one who passes through the Agneepath understands the Janpath.
Former leader of opposition Rajendra Rathore said that Janpath is not achieved without the fire on Agneepath. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the best example of this, who paved the way to reach the top through struggle. Rathore said that every phase of Satish Poonia’s political life, from Vidyarthi Parishad to BJP state president, has been a symbol of dialogue and struggle. He said that today the BJP government in Rajasthan stands on the foundation of the public issues that Satish Poonia raised through his struggle on the streets. This book will prove to be a source of inspiration for the students of politics.
On this occasion, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie said in his address that he has learned a lot from leaders like Poonia, Rajendra Rathore, Gulabchand Kataria and Ghanshyam Tiwari in the Assembly. He said that Satish Poonia is a civilized, dignified and thoughtful politician, who understands well the dignity of democracy. Julie said in a light tone that after becoming the in-charge of Haryana, a vibrant glimpse of Haryana has started appearing in Poonia. He added jokingly that I have come to know how Congress lost in Haryana, while everyone was saying that we were winning.
BJP State President Madan Rathod said that Governor Gulabchand Kataria is an ideal of politics and Dr. Poonia is a skilled organizer. He said smilingly, Satish Bhai, I have always paved the way for you and will continue to do so in the future too. At this, laughter echoed in the auditorium. Rathore said that this book of Poonia also exposes his writer personality, which till now was hidden behind political works.
During the program, RJ Karthik, poet Shivangi Singh, advocate Manmeet Soni, poet Dinesh Sutradhar and litterateur Neelu Shekhawat were honored for their outstanding contribution in various fields. The program was conducted by Prof. Gajadan Charan did it and Rajasthan Sahitya Academy Secretary Basant Solanki expressed his gratitude. Public representatives, party officials, writers, journalists, entrepreneurs, educationists and general public were present in large numbers from across the state in the programme.
