Out of this the Income Tax Department has collected approximately Returned amount of ₹40 lakhwhile the remaining amount was kept pending in another appeal. accused in the same case Vishnu Pareek had demanded a bribe of ₹15,000 — in exchange for a refund of ₹40 lakh and the remaining amount. During investigation of the complaint, it was found that the accused had already taken a bribe of ₹5,000. After this, the ACB team laid a trap and caught him red handed while taking a bribe of ₹ 10,000.
