Chittorgarh, October 15 (Patrika English News ). The links of the bus accident in Jaisalmer have now been linked to Chittorgarh. When investigation was done after the accident, it came to light that the bus was registered in the Chittorgarh District Transport Officer’s office. But the bus owner had got the bus modified into AC against the rules, about which the transport department officials were not even aware of. When the information about the accident was received, the officials of Chittorgarh Transport Department were also shocked. Now other buses of this bus owner are also being investigated.

It is noteworthy that 20 people died due to burning in an AC bus accident in Jaisalmer on Tuesday. This accident is being monitored by the government. The investigation conducted on the spot revealed that this bus was registered with the Chittorgarh District Transport Officer’s office. In such a situation, investigation has also been started by the government. Even Chittorgarh Transport Department office came into action. Transport Department officials, following the instructions of the headquarters, checked the documents related to the registration of the bus. In this, flaws have come to light regarding documents and making of the body of the bus. The bus owner went against the rules and got the bus modified from non-AC to AC. Somewhere this could also be the main reason for the accident, which will be revealed after investigation. Information regarding the bus has been collected from the Transport Officer’s office. It came to light that this bus had come on the road only on October 1. This accident happened on 14th October itself. This kind of accident in a new bus is raising big questions.

District Collector arrived, saw the documents

After receiving instructions from the state government after the accident, Chittorgarh District Collector Alok Ranjan reached the Regional Family Officer office on Wednesday afternoon. Here information regarding bus registration has been taken from Regional Transport Officer Nemichand Pareek and District Transport Officer Neeraj Shah. In this, the Transport Department officials have clearly stated that this bus was registered as non-AC. But the bus owner went against the rules and got the bus modified into AC. Later, Chittorgarh District Collector Alok Ranjan also thoroughly inspected the Regional Transport Officer office. Also asked for documents regarding registration of the bus.

Registration was done as per rules

District Transport Officer Neeraj Shah said that this bus was registered in the department as non-AC in Chittorgarh. What modification has been done by the vehicle owner will be known only after investigation. The billing of this bus is for 21st May. The body of the bus was ready in three months. After that the bus registration took place. Only the vehicle owner can tell what modifications he got done after 15 days. The District Transport Officer said that the billing is for May 21st. Body built in 3 months. On October 1, the vehicle passed in Chittorgarh in non-AC mode. The incident of yesterday 14th October is being told. Only he will be able to tell what changes the vehicle owner made in 14 days. Calls have also been received regarding bus registration. Chittorgarh District Collector has also come to the office. He has also taken information. He has checked all the documents. DTO told that in Chittorgarh the bus was registered as non-AC as per rules.
