OnePlus 15 May Launch Soon with Three Colour Options

New Delhi, Sept 10 (Patrika English News): Smartphone maker OnePlus is preparing to launch its upcoming flagship OnePlus 15, which will succeed the OnePlus 13. Ahead of its official debut, the device has appeared on benchmarking site Geekbench with model number PLK110, revealing some of its key specifications.

Display and Design

Leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15 will feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the device will be offered in three colour variants: Dune, Mist Purple, and Absolute Black. The Dune variant, expected to be the highlight of the company’s marketing material, may weigh around 211 grams, while the other two colour models could weigh around 215 grams.

Camera and Imaging TECHNOLOGY

A report from SmartPrix indicated that the OnePlus 15 may debut the company’s in-house developed camera engine for the first time. This new engine is designed to improve photo and video processing, integrating advanced algorithms to enhance low-light performance.

The smartphone is expected to feature a triple rear camera unit, raising questions about the continuation of OnePlus’ tie-up with Hasselblad, which has been part of the brand’s advanced colour tuning since the OnePlus 9. Early reports suggest the Hasselblad partnership may not extend to the OnePlus 15.

Processor and Storage

The Geekbench listing reveals the device will run on an octa-core Qualcomm Armv8 chipset, likely the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, a successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite that powers the OnePlus 13.

The smartphone is expected to be available in multiple RAM and storage options, including:

  • 12GB + 256GB

  • 12GB + 512GB

  • 16GB + 256GB

  • 16GB + 512GB

  • 16GB + 1TB

Launch Expectations

While OnePlus has not officially confirmed the launch date, the series of leaks and benchmark sightings indicate that the OnePlus 15 could make its debut soon in global markets, including India.
