Udaipur, April 5 : Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch the final model in its 17 series lineup, the Xiaomi 17 Max, which is expected to offer flagship-level features at a relatively lower price.

According to information shared by a tipster on social media platform X, the Xiaomi 17 Max could arrive as the most powerful yet affordable model in the series. The smartphone is expected to feature Leica-tuned cameras and will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The device is said to bring significant upgrades over the standard Xiaomi 17, targeting users who want high-end features without opting for bulkier and more expensive variants like the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
In terms of camera, the Xiaomi 17 Max is tipped to include a 200-megapixel primary sensor with a large 1/1.4-inch size. It may also feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope lens with a 1/1.95-inch sensor, offering performance close to the Pro Max variant.
The smartphone is expected to sport a large 6.9-inch OLED display and could pack a massive 8000mAh battery, making it one of the biggest battery offerings in its segment.
For comparison, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max comes with a 6.9-inch 2K display, runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3, and is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor built on a 3nm process. It offers up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, along with a triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup and a 50-megapixel front camera. The Pro Max variant is backed by a 6,300mAh battery and features multiple durability certifications.
Other models in the lineup, including the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, also come equipped with high-end specifications such as advanced camera systems, large batteries, and flagship processors.
The official launch date of the Xiaomi 17 Max is yet to be announced.
