
Banswara, April 10: A tragic accident occurred at the Syntex Mill Thermal Power Plant located on the Dahod road in the Rajatalab police station area, resulting in the death of an operator on Thursday morning. According to reports, 30-year-old Mohan, a resident of Ganau, was operating machinery when his hand got caught in a coal conveyor belt. Before he could react, the machine pulled him in, resulting in severe injuries; his hand was severed and his head was crushed by the belt.
Staff present at the site immediately informed the shift in-charge and halted the machine. Mohan was rushed to the hospital via ambulance, where he was pronounced dead by doctors. His body has been placed in the mortuary at MGH Hospital.
Shift in-charge Rakshit Malot stated that Mohan had been employed at the plant for the past six years. Family members revealed that his wife is seven months pregnant and he has three young daughters. The incident has plunged the family into financial turmoil, leading them to demand appropriate Compensation from the plant management.
