
New Delhi, April 2: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Lord Hanuman on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, expressing his hopes that the blessings of the mighty deity would instill courage and positivity among all his devotees.
In a post shared on the social media platform ‘X’, PM Modi stated, “Lord Hanuman is a unique symbol of devotion, strength, and unwavering dedication. May his blessings inspire courage and positivity in all his devotees.”
On this auspicious occasion, he also shared a Sanskrit verse, writing, “Manojavam Marutatulyavegam Jitendriyam Buddhimatam Varishtham. Vataatmajam Vanarayuthamukhyaam Shri Ramdootam Shirasaa Namami.”
The verse translates to, “I bow my head to Lord Hanuman, the messenger of Lord Ram. He is as swift as the mind and as powerful as the wind. He is self-controlled, the foremost among the wise, the son of the wind, and the leader of the monkey army.”
In another post, PM Modi shared a photograph of himself visiting the famous reclining Hanuman temple in Prayagraj, wishing all citizens a joyous Hanuman Jayanti. He expressed his desire that this sacred occasion brings new energy and enthusiasm into everyone’s lives, and that Lord Hanuman blesses all with strength, wisdom, and knowledge, enhancing the nation’s capabilities. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also extended his wishes on ‘X’, stating, “Wishing all devotees and citizens a blessed Hanuman Jayanti. May the grace of Lord Hanuman, the devoted servant of Lord Ram, bring happiness, peace, prosperity, and health to everyone.”
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated the people of the state on Hanuman Jayanti, expressing his hopes that Lord Bajrangbali’s blessings would bring knowledge, devotion, indomitable courage, focus, happiness, prosperity, and good health to all.
