RSS Aims for Empowered Society, Not Just Organization

Udaipur, April 14: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) held a significant public meeting at the Seva Bharati Hospital in Udaipur, focusing on community building, service spirit, and cultural values. The chief speaker, Dr. Dharmendra Singh, a regional propagator, emphasized that the RSS’s goal is not merely organizational expansion but the creation of a strong, aware, and united society.
Dr. Singh stated that true service involves reaching education, healthcare, and essential resources to the last person in society. He highlighted the importance of voluntary organizations as a strong foundation for social service, asserting that real change is only possible through them.
Hindutva is Our Identity, Women’s Respect is Paramount
He remarked that Hindutva is the soul of India and forms our identity. Recognizing women as divine beings, he noted that where women are respected, there resides divinity. Therefore, it is crucial to strengthen women’s safety and respect in society.
Call for Social Reform through Panch Parivartan
Dr. Singh advocated for ‘Panch Parivartan’—social harmony, family enlightenment, indigenous practices, civic etiquette, and environmental protection—as the foundation for societal transformation. He referenced Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the Chicago Parliament of Religions to highlight the global recognition of Indian culture. Various organizations working in education, healthcare, environment, and women’s empowerment shared their experiences during the meeting. The program commenced with a tribute to Mother India and concluded with the national anthem.
