Rajasthan government lived up to its promise of government jobs: Minister Zoraram Kumawat

Jaipur, October 18 (Udaipur Kiran News). The Animal Husbandry Department has been successful in realizing the vision of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma by fulfilling the promise made by the Rajasthan government to provide government jobs to one lakh youth every year. Cabinet Minister of Animal Husbandry, Cow Husbandry, Dairy and Devsthan Department, Zoraram kumawat is also making efforts to rapidly fulfill the vision of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. It is the result of the efforts of Cabinet Minister Jora Ram Kumawat that in just one year, not only applications were invited for the recruitment examination in the Animal Husbandry Department, but thousands of youth were also given appointments after conducting a successful examination and releasing its results. Apart from this, the Animal Husbandry Department is also organizing examinations for many more posts in the near future. In this context, Livestock Inspector (Livestock Assistant) Direct Recruitment 2024 is a big example of this. It was the efforts of Minister Kumawat that Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur organized the written examination on 13 June 2025 for 2783 posts of Livestock Inspector for the Animal Husbandry Department. In this series, the examination result was released by the board on 17 October-2025. According to Minister Kumawat, appointments will be made on the above posts by the end of this year.

Appointments given to animal attendants on 5778 posts

It is the result of these efforts of Animal Husbandry Minister Jora Ram Kumawat that during his tenure, the written examination for the said recruitment was conducted by Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur from 01 to 03 December 2024 for a total of 6433 posts of Animal Attendant direct recruitment. Not only this, the process of normalization adopted in the examination results released by the Board of this recruitment examination was challenged in the High Court, Jodhpur. Due to the innovative efforts of the Minister, the ban on appointment in the said recruitment was lifted after the High Court gave an interim order after the state government presented its correct case in the court. After this, the online counseling of the above selected 5778 candidates was completed by the department and appointment orders of the selected candidates were issued. After these orders, the selected candidates have joined by 17th October-2025.

Now preparing for another recruitment examination

The Animal Husbandry Department is moving towards completing the recruitment on about 80 percent of the vacant posts in its department. Minister Kumawat said that the Animal Husbandry Department has been successful in giving appointments to various posts. Apart from this, preparations have been made to fill a total of 1100 posts of Veterinary Officer through direct recruitment soon. Advertisement for this has been issued by Rajasthan Public Service Commission. Written examination will be conducted by RPSC for the said recruitment on 26 April 2026. Minister Kumawat said that with these recruitments the cattle rearers will get the benefit of better veterinary facilities and according to the thinking of the Bhajan Lal government, the economic condition of the cattle rearers will improve and their prosperity will increase.
