Rajasthan Police Sets Up Special Cell to Assist Indians Stranded in Nepal

Jaipur, Sept 10 (Kiran News): In a significant step to support Indian citizens stranded in Nepal, Rajasthan Police has established a special cell at the Police Headquarters in Jaipur. The initiative was launched under the directions of Director General of Police Rajeev Sharma.

24×7 Helpline and WhatsApp Support

The cell aims to provide timely and effective assistance to Indians facing difficulties in Nepal. For this, dedicated 24×7 helpline numbers and a WhatsApp contact have been issued:

  • Helpline numbers: 0141-2740832, 0141-2741807

  • WhatsApp number: 97849-42702

Through these channels, citizens and their families can directly reach out for help, information, or to lodge complaints.

Supervision by Senior Officers

The responsibility of overseeing the cell has been entrusted to SP Govardhanlal Sokaria. In addition, three experienced police officers have been assigned round-the-clock duty to ensure immediate response in case of emergencies.

Direct Relief for Citizens

With this initiative, Indians stranded in Nepal and their relatives can now establish direct contact with Rajasthan Police for urgent assistance. Authorities believe this measure will provide faster support and ease the concerns of families back home.
