Special program organized in Ayurveda University, message written on the wall
Jodhpur, October 14 (Patrika English News ). On the occasion of Breast cancer Awareness Month October 2025, a special awareness activity was organized under the Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025 by the Post Graduate Agadtantra Department under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Professor Mahendra Kumar Aseri at the Post Graduate Institute of Ayurveda, Rajasthan Ayurved University.
This special program was inaugurated by PGIA Principal Professor Chandan Singh by writing inspirational messages on the wall. He said in his message that early diagnosis of breast cancer is the key to its successful treatment. Every woman should be cautious about her health.
Cancer Unit in-charge Professor Ritu Kapoor said that under Breast Cancer Awareness Month, various types of awareness activities, health talks, and outreach programs will be organized throughout the month of October, the aim of which is to increase sensitivity towards cancer in the society.
Faculty and student engagement
In the program, Hospital Superintendent Prof. Govind Gupta, Head of Physiology Department, Prof. Dinesh Chand Sharma, Deputy Registrar Dr. Manoj Kumar Adlakkha, Pharmacy Director Dr. Vijaypal Tyagi, and CHRD Director Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Anita, Dr. Aruna Tiwari and all the faculty members, post-graduate and graduate students participated enthusiastically. All the participants contributed in spreading breast cancer awareness by writing slogans and messages on the wall of PGIA campus. In these slogans, women were motivated to do regular checkups, self-examination and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Outreach program conducted at school level also
University media in-charge Professor Dinesh Chandra Sharma said that under the program, an outreach program was organized in Government Higher Secondary School, Bhatianadi. In this, Dr. Aruna Tiwari gave a special lecture to make school girls aware about breast cancer. In his lecture he explained in detail about the symptoms, causes, prevention and self-examination method of breast cancer. She said that every woman should be conscious of her Health and should seek medical advice in case of any abnormal change.
