

Jaipur, 14 October (Patrika English News ). In the new criminal laws, special focus has been laid on providing speedy justice to the common people and providing relief in police cases. To convey various aspects related to these laws to the people in a simple and lively manner, a special exhibition is being organized on the theme ‘New Legislation-New Identity of Justice’.
This was said by Additional Director General of Police and Director of Rajasthan Police Academy, S. Sengathir said this in the ‘interactive session’ of the ‘Exposure Visit’ organized for media persons by the Publicity Branch of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) and Police Headquarters at JECC in Sitapura on Tuesday. He said that in the new criminal laws, many new provisions have been made, including ‘Zero FIR’, emphasizing the concept of quick relief to the victim, which along with making the general public aware, are becoming a medium of transparency in the police system and the field of justice.
In the interactive session, Inspector General of Police, Vigilance Prafulla Kumar and other police officers highlighted in detail the important aspects of the New Criminal Lodge. During this, many police officers including IG Ajaypal Lamba, DIG Vikas Sharma, Anand Sharma, Amit Sharma, Jyestha Maitreyi were present.
Senior correspondents, senior photographers and video journalists and other journalists from national and state level media organizations participated in the exposure visit.
Information about new laws is available through ten live models-
Common people are enthusiastically participating in the exhibition being organized on new criminal laws. In the exhibition, their knowledge of criminal laws has been displayed through 10 live models decorated in 3 stages. In the first phase, the functioning of the control room, scene of crime and police station has been shown in a live model based on complaint and investigation. In the second phase on the theme of ‘Scientific and Legal Verification’, the process of gathering medical evidence, medical examination of victims and preparation of legal post-mortem report is shown in the model of the hospital. Under the new laws, it has been made mandatory to record these processes in a timely manner and digitally. In this phase, visitors are being given information about the forensic investigation process and the role of the Public Prosecution Office in the context of a criminal incident in the exhibition. Similarly, in the third phase on the theme of ‘Justice and Reforms‘, demo of court proceedings in ‘District Court’, time bound trial and process of arriving at a decision on the basis of electronic evidence, prison model of prison reforms, rehabilitation of prisoners and the aspect of reform rather than punishment in the new laws have been highlighted. Under the live display in the exhibition, the main provisions of the three new criminal laws like e-FIR, community service and trial of fugitive criminals are being explained in a simple manner.
DIPR team also visited
On the second day of the exhibition ‘New Legislation – New Identity of Justice’, the team of Central News Desk (News Branch) and Social Media Branch along with senior officials of DIPR visited and understood the aspects related to the new criminal laws. During this, Additional Director of the Department (Public Relations) Police Headquarters Dr. Kamlesh Sharma, Additional Director Sujas Narbada Indoria, Joint Director Manmohan Harsh and Deputy Director Ajay Kumar discussed various aspects of public awareness and publicity about the new criminal laws with the departmental officers, interns and personnel included in the team.
The DIPR team included Assistant Director Dayashankar Sharma, Kavita Joshi, Priyanka Aggarwal and Ashish Jain along with Assistant Public Relations Officers and interns. A large number of common citizens including college and law students, jurists, forensic experts, police officers, police personnel and subject experts participated in the live sessions held on the second day of the exhibition.
