Special RSP workshop organized in Kota division for railway employees

Contingency death, disability and air accident insurance facility will be available without any premium under railway salary account package

Keta, 8 October (Udaipur Kiran News). In West Central Railway, Kota division, a workshop was organized by the Indian State Bank in the auditorium of the Divisional Railway Manager Office today to provide information about the special facilities being provided to the railway officers and employees under the Railway Pay Account Package (RSP).

The program was chaired by Divisional Railway Manager Anil Kalra. Additional Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Kumar Dhurandhar, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Suprakash, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Jain, all branch officers and Chief Manager of Indian State Bank Arun Kumar Sinha, Manager Ashish Aggarwal and Branch Manager Satya Kumari were present on the occasion.

Divisional Railway Manager Anil Kalra said that this agreement of the Indian Railways with the Indian State Bank is very beneficial for the employees. Under this agreement, railway employees with a pay account in the bank will get detailed insurance facilities without any premium or fee. This includes casual death insurance of up to ₹ 1 crore, permanent disability cover of ₹ 1 crore, partial disability cover up to ₹ 80 lakh and air accident insurance cover up to ₹ 1.60 crore.

On this occasion, an insurance compensation of ₹ 1 crore was provided to his wife by the Indian State Bank and Railway Administration on the death of an employee of the signal department of Kota division. Similarly, an employee of the Railway Protection Force was provided a compensation of ₹ 15 lakh for injured in the accident. Both employees received this amount under the railway salary account package without any insurance premium.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and Public Relations Officer Saurabh Jain said that all the officers and employees of Kota division can avail these facilities by opening a salary account in the Indian State Bank. This initiative is an important step towards social security and welfare of railway employees.
