Araria, September 16 (Patrika English News): The inauguration of the Jogbani–Chennai Amrit Bharat Express, Jogbani–Patna Vande Bharat Express, and the new Araria–Galgalia rail line has brought cheer to the people of Araria. Citizens expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, while local MP Pradeep Kumar Singh received wide appreciation and congratulations on social media.
Calling the Araria–Galgalia line his dream project, MP Pradeep Kumar Singh travelled on the inaugural train along with his supporters. During the journey from Araria to Kaliaganj, thousands gathered at stations including Rahmatnagar, Khwaspur, Laxmipur, Bardaha, and Kaliaganj to welcome him with garlands and slogans in his support.
BJP district president Aditya Narayan Jha, state executive member Ajay Jha, NDA Lok Sabha coordinator Samarnath Singh, and BJP OBC Morcha district president Dilip Patel accompanied the MP. They termed the new rail line and train services a historic step for the region.
BJP leader Dilip Patel congratulated the MP, stating that despite criticism from the opposition, Singh has secured a place in history for Araria’s development. He added that the launch of Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat services from Jogbani reinforces his image as a “Vikas Purush.”
Patel further highlighted that the MP has consistently delivered on development work, citing projects like the approval of a state highway from Jaynagar to Ghoorna in Bhargama block, new train services from Jogbani, and infrastructure improvements including bridges and culverts that strengthen road and rail connectivity in the region.
