
Jaipur, 14 October (Patrika English News ). Winter has knocked in Rajasthan. A period of fluctuating temperatures has begun in the state. While on one hand the heat of the sun has started increasing during the day, on the other hand the temperature at night is falling. The mercury dropped below 15 degrees Celsius in Sikar on Monday night, due to which a mild cold is being felt in the Shekhawati region.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in the state for the next four to five days and there is a possibility of only slight fluctuations in the temperature.
During the last 24 hours, the sky remained clear and there was bright sunshine in most parts of the state.
A slight increase was recorded in the day temperature. In many cities including Barmer, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Ajmer and Jaipur, the maximum temperature has increased by one to two degrees. According to the Meteorological Department data, yesterday the maximum temperature in Barmer was 37.3 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, 36 in Jaisalmer, 35 in Bikaner, 35.7 in Sriganganagar, 34.2 in Churu, 34.3 in Nagaur, 34.5 in Jodhpur, 33.9 in Pilani, 33.6 in Chittorgarh, 33.2 in Alwar, 33.4 in Hanumangarh, 33.5 in Jalore, 32 in Ajmer, 32 in Kota. 32.2, 31.9 in Bhilwara, 31.5 degree Celsius was measured in Sikar and 30.4 degree Celsius in Jaipur.
Meteorologists said that the effect of cold winds coming from North India has now reduced, due to which the coolness of the day has reduced. However, light cold winds are still blowing in the morning and evening, due to which the temperature is falling at night.
Experts also said that at present there is no activity of any new Western Disturbance, due to which the weather is likely to remain clear and dry in the state for the next few days.
