At that time Fardeen Khan was arrested on the spot, while Nadeem Pathan absconded.
The police team continued searching for Nadeem Pathan through continuous intelligence collection and informer system. Finally, on Sunday, 12 October, the police raided his residential house and arrested him. A reward of ₹ 25,000 was announced on the accused and he also has a long criminal record.
