Bribery case in Rajasthan Gramin Bank Dungarpur, ACB caught broker red handed taking bribe of ₹ 45,000

Jaipur, October 13 (Udaipur Kiran News). Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) team took major action on Monday and arrested a broker working for Rajasthan gramin bank branch Metali, District Dungarpur of ₹ 45,000. Bribe taking the money red handed arrested Did. This bribe was demanded by bank manager Abhimanyu Kumar Singh.

Dungarpur bribery case

On the instructions of ACB Headquarters, the team of Outpost Anti Corruption Bureau, Dungarpur carried out the action. According to the Bureau, the accused broker Bhupendra Kumar Parmar, who is working as a bank friend at Rajasthan Gramin Bank Main Branch Dungarpur, was caught while accepting a bribe amount of ₹45,000 from the complainant.

Additional Director General of Anti Corruption Bureau Police Mrs. Smita Srivastava said that the Bureau had received a complaint on 7 October 2025. It was told in the complaint that the complainant had applied for a total loan of ₹ 11 lakh under Kisan Credit Card for agricultural land from Rajasthan Gramin Bank branch Meitali in the name of his brother and mother. Bank manager Abhimanyu Kumar Singh had demanded a bribe of ₹ 50,000 in exchange for loan approval and said that the amount would have to be given to the person named by him.

ACB range after confirmation of complaint Udaipur The trap action was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police Prahlad Singh Krishnaia and under the direction of Deputy Superintendent of Police Ratan Singh Rajpurohit of ACB Dungarpur. During this, Police Inspector Rajendra Singh and his team arrested the accused broker Bhupendra Kumar Parmar red handed while taking a bribe of ₹ 45,000.

After the action, the bribe amount was recovered and bank manager Abhimanyu Kumar Singh was also detained. The accused are being interrogated by the ACB team and further investigation is going on.
