Chittorgarh, 21 October (Patrika English News ). On Tuesday evening, three youths returning home on a bike were hit by an unbalanced car in Chanderiya, a suburban settlement of Chittorgarh city. Out of this, one youth died, while two seriously injured had to be referred to Udaipur. The speed of the car was so fast that the electric pole itself broke due to its collision. Later the car also overturned. After the accident, the joy of Diwali turned into mourning in the village of these youth.
Chanderiya police station head constable Shaktisingh said that three friends, residents of Singola village of Gangrar police station area, had come to Chittorgarh for shopping. At around 4.30 in the evening, Chanderiya was returning from suburban settlement towards his village via Rolakheda Road. During this time, a car coming at high speed hit his bike. Later the car collided with an electric pole and overturned. The electric pole was also damaged due to the collision with the car. After the accident, there was a commotion on the spot; nearby people took care of the injured and took them to the district hospital for treatment. The police was also informed. In this, Ramprasad Sen, resident of Singola village, died. After investigation the doctors declared it dead. Whereas both his associates Sitaram Sahu and Ashu Gurjar were referred to Udaipur after first aid in the district hospital, seeing their serious condition. When information about the accident was received in the village, mourning spread and a large number of people reached the rural district hospital. Here the police conducted post-mortem of the dead body and handed it over to the family members. The police have brought the car and bike from the spot to the police station. Chanderiya resident Govind Gurjar told that a black colored car had hit the bike. All three were going home after Diwali shopping.
Here, information came to light that the car had overturned after the accident. The driver was stuck in it. But before people could reach him, he broke the glass of the car and ran away from the spot. Police is busy searching for the driver on the basis of the car number.
