
Jaisalmer, October 21 (Udaipur Kiran News). The golden city Jaisalmer shone like gold on Diwali. The Municipal Council illuminated the entire city with lights. From Sonar Fort to the main squares of the city, parks, dividers and government buildings have been decorated with attractive LED lights, as the evening approaches, the entire city becomes illuminated with twinkling lights.
Colorful lighting was done on Sonar Fort to identify Jaisalmer. The streets and squares around the fort were also decorated with lamp garlands. The attractive flicker of colorful lights on the city’s major circles Hanuman Circle, Vijay Stambh, Vyas Circle, Geeta Ashram Circle, Air Force Circle and Gadisar Circle attracted people.
At night, crowds of tourists along with city residents gathered on the streets of the city illuminated with beautiful lighting. Children and youth enjoyed fireworks, while families were seen congratulating each other by lighting lamps in temples and markets. The shops of sweets and decorative items in the main markets were also busy throughout the day.
Municipal Council Commissioner Lajpal Singh said – This time especially energy-saving LED lights were used to decorate the city. These not only provided attractive decoration but also saved electricity. Many local institutions and business organizations also helped in brightening the city by decorating for Diwali.
