On the festival of Diwali, a tableau of mahadev in the form of Kolhapur Mahalakshmi was decorated in Hazareshwar Mahadev Temple located in the city. Shri Mahant Chandrabharti Maharaj of Hazareshwar Mahadev Temple told that in the whole of India, Mahalakshmi Temple is situated only in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Lakhs of visitors come there to have darshan. Keeping in view the form of Mahalakshmi on Diwali, a tableau was decorated in the form of Mahalakshmi in Hazareshwar Mahadev Temple. Pandit Shravan Samvedi decorated the tableau of Bholenath. During this time all the devotees had darshan and also worshiped Lakshmi. Also took blessings of Bhagwati Mahalakshmi.
