According to reports, Gurkirat, son of Gurjeet Singh Manocha from Parsvanath Colony, Devas Road, Ujjain, had moved to Canada about two and a half years ago. He was enrolled in a post-degree diploma program in Business Management at Northern Lights College.
The family stated that the incident took place on Saturday (March 14), when the attackers assaulted him during a disagreement. Gurjeet Singh mentioned that Canadian police have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
