US President Trump Departs Malaysia for Japan After ASEAN Summit

Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), October 27 (Udaipur Kiran): US President Donald Trump has departed from Malaysia to Japan after concluding his official visit to Kuala Lumpur. In a post shared a few hours ago on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump described Malaysia as a “great and vibrant country” and expressed satisfaction over the outcomes of his visit.

He wrote, “Just departed from Malaysia — a great and vibrant nation. Signed major trade and rare earth deals. Most importantly, witnessed the signing of a peace treaty between Thailand and Cambodia. No more war. Millions of lives saved. It’s an honor to have made this happen. Now heading to Japan.”

According to a report by The Star, Malaysia’s leading daily, President Trump departed at 10:06 a.m. (local time) from Kuala Lumpur International Airport aboard Air Force One. During his two-day visit, he attended the 47th ASEAN Summit, where he praised Malaysia’s role in promoting economic cooperation and regional stability.

Following his stop in Japan, Trump is scheduled to travel to South Korea, where he will participate in the APEC Summit. A highly anticipated meeting between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to take place on the sidelines of the summit later this week, drawing significant global attention.
